How to Find Saved Wi-Fi Password on My Mac


Recently, I bought a new iPad. I was trying to connect the iPhone to Mac’s Wi-Fi. but, I couldn’t. Because I forgot my Wi-Fi’s password. I tried to remember my password but I couldn’t. One of my friends told me how to find Wi-Fi password on Mac. Somehow, I connected my iPhone to Wi-Fi. Do you want to know how to do this? In this article, I am going to tell you.
Step 1: First you have to open Spotlight Search box and type “Keychain Access”.
Step 2: At the left menu bar, tap on the “System” keychains. Then from the category menu, tap on the “Passwords”. It will find and show your stored passwords.system-img
Step 3: Select the Network Name that you want to see the passwords and double tap on it.
Step 4: Then you can see one window that shows the stored password. Next, tap on the “show password” at the bottom of the left corner.
Step 5: It will be asking your username and password for authentication and this account should have an administrator.user-img
Note: If you forgot or unsure your username, you can see that in the finder app. It will in home icon under Favourites sidebar. The home folder and username both are the same names.
Step 6: After authenticating your account, the password will be shown on the window.
Step 7: If you want to change passwords, you can change it. Finally, click the “Save Changes” button.final-img
