Do Not Disturb Not Working on iPhone in iOS 12 – Fixed


iPhone users have complained that Do Not Disturb mode is not working on their iPhone. I have also had this Do Not Disturb not working issue. I have turned on Do Not Disturb but I got notifications and calls on my iPhone and this icon was greyed out. Then I have tried some solutions to fix this problem. After trying, there is no issue now it works properly. Here I am going to tell you those solutions to fix this problem.
Solution 1: Force Restart your iPhone
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Solution 2: Enable and Disable Do Not Disturb
If Do Not Disturb Mode is not working, you can try this. First turn on Do not disturb and turn off it. Do this at least 4 to 5 times. To do this,

  1. Go to Settings -> Do Not Disturb.
  2. Here you can see this mode.

Solution 3: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your Restrictions Passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.

Solution 4: Check Incoming Calls
If you don’t want any calls when Do Not Disturb mode is on, you can set it. For that,

  1. Go to Settings -> Do Not Disturb.
  2. Under PHONE, tap Allow Calls From and select “No One”.
  3. Now, you won’t get any incoming calls on your phone.

Solution 5: Turn Off Repeated Calls

  1. Go to Settings -> Do Not Disturb.
  2. Scroll down the page and turn off “Repeated Calls”.

Solution 6: Restore your Phone

  1. First, connect your iPhone to the Mac.
  2. Then open iTunes on your Mac.
  3. Click the iPhone icon at the top.
  4. Now, click Summary tab at left corner.
  5. A pop-up box will appear to confirm the action and tap Restore.
  6. Then iTunes will restore your iPhone.
  7. When your phone restarts, you can see a few options. You have to select “Set Up as New iPhone”.
