Manually delete old Time Machine backups to free up space on Mac

Are you looking for backup Application Software? I think Time Machine backup is the only backup Software that deletes old backups to free up space on Mac.
Solution 1: Delete Backup from the Finder window

  1. Enter the time machine.
  2. Choose the backup.
  3. Right click on the backup (on the Finder window).
  4. Select the ‘Delete Backup’.

Note: Hold down the Option and click on the time machine in the menu bar and “Browse other backup files”.
Solution 2: Use tmutil
Use tmutil tool to delete backups one by one.
sudo tmutil delete/Volumes/drive_name/Backups.backupdb/mac_name/YYYY-MM-DD-hh mm ss.
