One of the newsreaders have some images files and they want to combine them into a single PDF file. Here given some ideas to convert JPEG files to a PDF.
Method 1: Preview and save file as PDF
- Choose the images that you want to convert to PDF.
- Right-click on the PDF and select open with Preview.
- Go to the “File” menu and select “Print Selected Images” and then select PDF -> Save as PDF”.
Method 2: Use Imagemagick Software
Open the first image from the preview and save as PDF. There are the thumbnails available in the sidebar of the preview.
Download and install ImageMagick Software. It is a free app to convert the image files. Open a Terminal and click on your image files. Change the image files into PDF.
This is a very fast method to produce PDF files.

Method 3: Convert to PDF file by using Preview sidebar
Go to the Applications folder and open the Preview app. View the images that you want to open. Use Command key to select multiple images. Open the images and reorder it in the Preview sidebar.
Check whether the page is in landscape or orientation. Go to the Orientation feature and change the orientation. Then, select the little drop-down menu “PDF” from the bottom left side.
In that select “Save as PDF”.
Now, a dialog box appears in that fill where you want to save the PDF on your desktop.
If you want to add a password to your PDF, for that click “Security Options“. Then tap on “Save” button. A PDF file is now created.
