Deleting Cache and Log files manually on the Mac
Three different Caches are in OS X, the User Cache, the browser Cache and the System Cache.
Do the below steps to delete all these files from your Mac
Step 1: Open the Finder Menu and click on the GO and select “Go to folder”. or otherwise, use the shortcut: Shift+CMD+G.
Step 2: A Go to Folder dialog box opens and in that enter: ~/Library/Caches.
Step 3: Take a backup of the files that you want to delete by holding the alt key and drag the particular folder to the desktop.
Step 4: Now, select all the files from the Cache Folder by choosing Select All option under the Edit menu or use shortcut key CMD+A.
Step 5: After that, select all the files to delete by moving them to a Trash folder. Go to the Finder main menu and empty the Trash.
Step 6: Repeat the above steps to remove your Mac Log files.
