How to clear caches and temporary files from Mac OS? If you want to save the space on your hard drive first clean the unwanted files on the Mac. Because Cache and Log files get over time for processing and it cause some system related issues. Here we go
Deleting Cache and Log files manually on the Mac
Three different Caches are in OS X, the User Cache, the browser Cache and the System Cache.
Do the below steps to delete all these files from your Mac
Step 1: Open the Finder Menu and click on the GO and select “Go to folder”. or otherwise, use the shortcut: Shift+CMD+G.

Step 2: A Go to Folder dialog box opens and in that enter: ~/Library/Caches.
Step 3: Take a backup of the files that you want to delete by holding the alt key and drag the particular folder to the desktop.
Step 4: Now, select all the files from the Cache Folder by choosing Select All option under the Edit menu or use shortcut key CMD+A.
Step 5: After that, select all the files to delete by moving them to a Trash folder. Go to the Finder main menu and empty the Trash.

Step 6: Repeat the above steps to remove your Mac Log files.

How to Clean all Caches and Temporary files from Mac

Take a backup with Time Machine. Once the backup is completed, an active user tries to delete and clear cache and temp files.
Step 1: Close the Mac app that is recently opened.
Step 2: Open the Finder window in Mac OS.
Step 3: Hold the SHIFT key or OPTION/ALT Key and drag below to open “Go” menu in Finder.
Step 4: Select “Library” from the Go menu options.

Step 6: Select caches and temporary files that you want to delete and choose an exact app for cleaning the files.
