Can’t Share Password with AirDrop on iPhone


As you all know AirDrops are mainly used for smooth and securing file transfer. It also allows sharing password too. Unluckily sometimes can’t able to share the password with AirDrops. Many of them reporting about this issue even I too had this issue. And I tried some solutions to solve this issue. Those trick helps to overcome this issue. So now I’m gonna share those tricks with you. Hope it will use to solve your problem.
Solution 1: Enable AirDrops

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Tap AirDrops and select Everyone.
  4. Otherwise using control center tap AirDrops and then Select Everyone.

Solution 2: Turn Off Personal Hotspot

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap Personal Hotspot and then Turn off it.

Solution 3: Do Not Disturb Mode

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see Do Not Disturb and then tap it.
  3. Turn off the Scheduled.

Solution 4: Check AirDrop Usage is Not Restricted

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Tap Restriction and then enter your restriction passcode.
  4. Turn on the AirDrop mode.

Solution 5: Turn off/ Turn on Bluetooth and WiFi

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap WiFi and then  Turn on and turn off it.
  3. Then tap Bluetooth and then turn on and turn off it.

Solution 6: Force Restart/Hard Reset
iPhone 6

  1. Press and Hold the Home button.
  2. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep button when holding the Home button.
  3. Hold both buttons until you see the Black Screen.
  4. Wait for sometimes to see Apple Logo.

iPhone 7

  1. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep(Power) button at the right of your iPhone.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Button.
  3. Wait until the Apple Logo appears.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 7: System Update

  1. Launch Settings->General.
  2. Tap on “Software Update”.
  3. If an Update is available, tap “Download and Install”.
