As you all know Caller ID is one of the most important and useful features in all smartphone. Many iPhone users reporting that name linked to the number is invisible during receive a phone call. I too faced the same issue and I tried few tricks and it works for me. In this article, I’m gonna share what to do when Caller ID does not work on iPhone. Solution 1: Turn Off/On Caller ID
- Launch Settings.
- Scroll down to see Phone and then tap it.
- Tap Show My Caller ID.
- Then turn off and turn on it.
Solution 2: Restart your Device
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slide to power off screen appears.
- Drag the slider to turn off your device.
- Again press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see an Apple Logo.
Solution 2: Reinstall Your SIM Card
- Turn Off your device.
- By using SIM eject tool remove the SIM safely
- Check whether your SIM has any damage like scratches.
- If none then insert it back.
Solution 3: Update Carrier Settings
- Launch Settings.
- Scroll down to General and then tab it.
- Tap About. If an update is available then tap Update.
Solution 4: Reset All Settings
- Launch Settings > General.
- Scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.
- Tap “Reset all Settings”.
- Enter passcode if required.
- Then tap “Reset All Settings” in Pop-up box to confirm the action.
Solution 5: Adjust Date And Time
- Launch Settings.
- Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
- Tap Date & Time.
- Turn off Set Automatically.
- Then you should set the date and time automatically.
Solution 6: Reset Network Settings
- Launch Settings.
- Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
- Tap Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- Enter your Passcode if required.
- Again tap Reset Network Settings to confirm your action.
Solution 7: Factory Reset
- Launch Settings.
- Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
- Again scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.
- Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
- Now the pop-up box will appear with 3 options. If you want to Backup your device then tap Back Up Then Erase.
- If you have already taken a Backup then tap Erase Now.
- Wait until the process gets finished.
Note: This fix will remove all data from your device. Therefore, it is advisable to take a backup.
