When I was opening the Calendar, it shows Calendar Invitation error that “Your response to the invitation cannot be sent”. I had tried some solutions to fix this problem. After tried, I had fixed the error. I will tell you some solutions to get rid of this problem. One of these solutions may resolve your problem. If you are having this problem, you can try these.
Fix 1: Turn Off the Callendar
- Open “Settings” app on your iPhone.
- Click your Apple ID banner.
- Then click “iCloud”.
- Turn off the Calendars, Reminders, and Contacts.
Fix 2: Restart your iOS Devices
iPhone 8 and Earlier
- Press and hold the power button until you get a slider.
- To turn off your device, drag the slider.
- After few seconds, again press and hold the power button until you get Apple logo.
iPhone X
- Press and hold the side button until you get a slider.
- To turn off your device, drag the slider.
- After that, again turn on your device, For that, press and hold the side button until you get an Apple logo.
Using Accounts
- Launch “Settings” app on your iPhone.
- Then click on “Calendar” -> click “Accounts”.
- Then select all account and then turn off the Calendar.
- Turn off your iPhone and wait for few seconds. After that, turn on it.
- Turn on the “Calendar” again.
Fix 3: Restore your Phone
Restore Your iPhone using iTunes
Before restore, you have to backup your device. Because it erases the phone’s data.
- Connect your iPhone to Mac.
- Open iTunes on your Mac. Then select your “iPhone” icon at the top.
- Then click “Restore iPhone”.
Fix 4: Hard Reset your iOS devices
Force restart
Force restart/Hard Reset (till iPhone 6)
- Press and hold the “Home Button”.
- At the same time, press and hold the “Wake/Sleep (Power) button” at the top right of the iPhone while holding the “Home Button”.
- Hold both buttons until the screen goes “black” and wait until the “Apple logo” appears.
Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 7)
- Press and hold the “Wake/Sleep (Power) button” at the right of the iPhone.
- Press and hold the “Volume Down button” on the left side while holding the “Wake/Sleep button”.
- Wait until the “Apple logo” appears.
Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 8 and iPhone X)
- Press “Volume Up button” and quickly release it. And then Press “Volume Down button” and quickly release it.
- At last, press and hold the “Slide button (Wake/Sleep button)” until the “Apple logo” appears.
Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Fix 5: Put your Device in Recovery Mode
- First, turn off your device.
- Then plug your USB cable into the Mac. Don’t connect the cable to your iPhone.
- Press and hold the Home button and instantly plug the USB cable to your iPhone.
- You have to press it until getting iTunes screen on your iPhone. When you see that the iTunes release the Home button.
Note: Recovery mode will be deleting you all data. Before doing that, you have to backup your device.
