Apps Not Loading after Restore iPhone X? Here's the fix

I restored my iPhone X before 3 days. After restoring, some of the apps on my iPhone X won’t load. Then I tried erasing and reinstalling those apps but it didn’t work for me. My sister said that the apps on her iPhone greyed out after restore. Many of the iPhone users have the problem that their iPhone X apps stuck on loading after restore. Some people said that apps not downloading on my iPhone after restoring on iOS 11. If you have the same issue, my article will help you to fix the issue.
Solution 1: Force close an app

  1. Swipe the screen up from the Home screen. You can see the recently closed apps.
  2. Press and hold the app firmly. Tap ‘-’ symbol in the red circle at the left upper corner of the app or after seeing ‘-’ symbol in the red circle, swipe the app up to close the app.force close

Solution 2: Redownload the app from App Store
Delete the app that stuck on loading/waiting and then redownload it.

  1. Launch App Store and tap on Circular Profile icon. It will lead you to your Account page.
  2. Tap “Purchased” and then tap “My Purchases” if you have a family account.
  3. There you can see the “All” tab where you can see the all purchased apps and “Not in this iPhone” tab where you can see apps that you want to redownload.
  4. There you can see some apps with blue cloud with arrow down and some apps with a spinning circle which means those apps are downloading.
  5. To redownload the apps, tap on the blue icon next to the apps. Wait until the apps are completely downloaded.

Then you can open all the apps without any problem.
Solution 3: Sign In and Sign Out to App Store
To Sign In,

  1. Launch Settings->iTunes & App Store/App & iTunes store.
  2. Tap your Apple ID and then tap “Sign Out”.

To Sign Out,

  1. Launch Settings->iTunes & App Store/App & iTunes store.
  2. Tap “Sign In” and then enter the Apple ID and Password.
  3. Then tap “Sign In”.

Solution 4: Soft restart

  1. Launch Settings->General->Shut Down (or) press and hold the Slide button and either volume up or volume down button until the slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone.
  3. To turn on the iPhone press the slide button until the apple logo appears.

Solution 5: Hard Reset/Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.iPhone x

Note: don’t press Volume Up and Volume Down at the same time.
Solution 6: Reset All settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Reset All Settings” under Reset
  3. Enter passcode if required and then tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm the action.Reset All Settings

Note: When you try Reset All Settings, your iPhone will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved WiFi passwords, APN and VPN settings.
Other solutions:

  1. Check Apple warranty status. If your iPhone covers warranty, take it to the Apple Service Center.
  2. Check your network connection and iPhone storage.
  3. Go to the App Store. If there is any app available for updating, update and install it.
  4. Make sure that you have updated your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
