Apple Watch Series 3 Touch Screen Issues and Problems – Solved


Many people have a complaint that their Apple Watch 3 touch screen not working. They said sometimes the screen is unresponsive or slow to respond. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix this issue.
Solution 1: Force Restart
If the touch screen is not responding to touch, try hard reset. One of the Apple Watch users said that this solution worked for him perfectly.
Press and hold the Digital Crown and Side Button until the Apple Logo Appears.
Solution 2: Remove the accessories

  1. Remove the screen protectors like tempered glass, scratch cover, etc from your Apple Watch.
  2. Remove the case and bumper from your Apple Watch.
  3. Now check whether the screen is working or not.

Solution 3: Clean your Apple Watch
Don’t use cleaning products, compressed air, abrasive materials, soaps, ultrasonic cleaning, and external heat sources with your Apple Watch. Because they may cause screen damage.

  1. Turn off your Apple Watch.
  2. Remove it from the charger if connected to power.
  3. Use a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth to wipe the screen of your Apple Watch. If you want, lightly wet the cloth with fresh water before wiping.

Note: Wipe the screen with a dry nonabrasive, lint-free cloth if you use water.
Solution 4: Update your iPhone and Apple Watch
To update your iPhone,

  1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Go to Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

To update your Apple Watch,
Update your Apple Watch after updating your iPhone.

  1. Connect your Apple Watch to power. Make sure that your Apple Watch has at least 50% charge. Don’t disconnect your Apple Watch from power while updating.
  2. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi.
  3. Keep your Apple watch next to iPhone.
  4. Open Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  5. Tap My Watch tab->General->Software Update.
  6. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.
  7. Enter your passcode if required.
  8. Click “Agree” to agree the Terms and Conditions.

Solution 5: Restart your iPhone and Apple Watch

  1. Turn off your iPhone and Apple Watch together.
  2. First, turn on your iPhone.
  3. Then turn on your Apple Watch.

Solution 6: Unpair and Re-pair your Apple Watch (Reset)
Unpairing your Apple watch is the same as restoring your Watch to Factory Settings. When you unpair your Apple Watch, the iPhone will automatically take a backup of your watch.
Before unpair your Apple Watch, connect it to Wi-Fi or cellular plan.

  1. Make sure that the distance between your Apple Watch and iPhone is not too far. Keep them as close as possible.
  2. Launch Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  3. Tap My Watch tab.
  4. Tap your Apple Watch when it shows on top of the screen.
  5. Tap (i) info symbol that is next to your watch to unpair it from your iPhone.
  6. Tap “Unpair Apple Watch”.
  7. After unpairing, you can see the message to repair again. Then repair your Apple Watch with iPhone.

Other solutions:

  1. Check Apple warranty status. If your iPhone covers warranty, take it to the Apple Service Center.
  2. Make an Apple genius bar appointment.
