Apple Watch Series 3 Not Fully Charging? Here’s the fix


Many Apple users have a complaint that their Apple Watch not charging to 100 and it won’t charge past 93/94/95 percent. One of my friends said some solutions to solve this issue. If you have the same problem this article will help you to fix it.
Solution 1: Update your iPhone & Apple Watch
For iPhone:

  1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Launch Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

For Apple Watch:

  1. Keep your Apple Watch next to iPhone.
  2. Connect your Apple watch to charger. Make sure that your Apple Watch has at least 50% charge.
  3. Don’t disconnect your Apple Watch from charging until the update finishes.
  4. Launch the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  5. Select My Watch->General->Software Update.apple watch series-3
  6. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

Solution 2: Restart your iPhone and Apple Watch

  1. Launch Settings->General->Shut Down (or) Press and hold the Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the slider to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. To turn on your device, press and hold the Power Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Don’t restart your Apple Watch, while charging. If you restart while charging, it won’t restart.

  1. Press and hold the Side Button until the Power Off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your Apple Watch.
  3. To turn on your watch, again press and hold Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.restart-apple watch 3

Solution 3: Force Restart your Apple Watch
Press and hold the Side Button and Digital Crown until the Apple Logo Appears.force restart-apple watch 3
Solution 4: Unpair and Re-pair the Apple Watch
Unpairing your Apple watch is the same as restoring your Watch to Factory Settings. When you unpair your Apple Watch, the iPhone will automatically take a backup of your watch.
Before unpair your Apple Watch, connect it to Wifi/Cellular Data.

  1. Make sure that the distance between your Apple Watch and iPhone is not too far. Keep them as close as possible.
  2. Launch Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  3. Tap My Watch tab.
  4. Tap your Apple Watch when it shows on top of the screen.
  5. Tap the (i) info symbol that is next to your watch to unpair it from your iPhone.
  6. Tap “Unpair Apple Watch”.unpair-apple watch series 3
  7. After unpairing, you can see the message to repair again. If you want, you can repair.

Other Solutions:

  1. Uninstall all third party apps from your Apple Watch.
  2. Use Apple/MFi charger and accessories.
  3. Check Apple warranty status. If your iPhone covers warranty, take it to the Apple Service Center.
  4. Make an Apple genius bar appointment.
