[Solved] Apple Watch Series 3 Not Connecting to Wi-Fi


When I was trying to connect my Apple Watch Series 3 to Wi-Fi, it didn’t connect. It was happened on before one week and it was really frustrating. Then I have told this problem to one of my friends. He gave me some solutions to fix this problem. After tried these, my Watch connected to Wi-Fi. Now, I have no issues on my Apple Watch Series 3 and it works properly. In this article, I am going to tell you how to fix this problem. If you have this same problem, pretty sure this article helps you.
Solution 1: Update the iOS on Both Devices
Update iOS on Apple Watch

  • Connect your Apple Watch to the internet connection. Then make sure that your watch is fully charged.
  • Open “Apple Watch” app on your iPhone.then click “My Watch” tab.
  • Click “General” and then click “Software Update”.
  • Click “Download and Install”. Next, enter the passcode if asked.
  • Then click “Agree” to Terms and Conditions.
  • Click “Proceed” to start the process. Then enter the passcode.

Update iOS on iPhone

  • Launch “Settings” app on your iPhone.
  • Click “General” -> click “Software Update”.
  • Click “Download and Install”.
  • Enter the passcode if asked.
  • Then click “Agree” to the Terms and Conditions.
  • Again click “agree” to begin the process.

Solution 2: Turn on and turn off  Airplane Mode on your Apple Watch

  • Swipe the screen of your Apple Watch from bottom to up.
  • Then you can get Control Center.
  • You can see the “Airplane Mode” turn it on.
  • You can also turn off the “Bluetooth”. After few seconds, you have to turn off “Airplane Mode”.airplane-off

Solution 3: Unpair your Apple Watch

  • Make sure that your iPhone and Apple Watch keep together.
  • Then launch “Apple Watch App” on your iPhone.
  • Click and go to the “My Watch” tab.
  • At the top of the screen click your watch.
  • To unpair your device,  you have to click the “Info” icon.
  • At the bottom of the screen, click “Unpair Apple Watch”.

Solution 4: Factory Reset on  Apple Watch
Before resetting your Apple Watch, you should have to backup your device. Because factory reset will delete all information, Apps and any other documents.

  • Launch “settings” on your Apple Watch.
  • Tap “General”.
  • Tap “Reset” -> tap “Erase All Content and Settings”. Finally, enter your passcode to getting process.

Solution 5: Restart or Power Off your Apple Watch and iPhone
Sometimes, it can be fixed the error by power off/restart your devices. Here, I am telling you how to power off or restart your Apple Watch and iPhone.
Restart your Apple Watch

  • Press and hold the side button of your Apple Watch.
  • Then you can see the “Power off” button that you drag it to the right side.
  • Wait for 5 to 10 seconds. After that, again press and hold the side button until you can see Apple logo.power-off

Restart your iPhone
iPhone 8 and Earlier:

  • Press and hold the power button until you get a slider.
  • To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  • After few seconds, again press and hold the power button until you get an Apple logo.restart-device

iPhone X:

  • Press and hold the side button until you get a slider.
  • To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  • Another way to restart your iPhone is open “Settings”.
  • Tap “General”.
  • Tap “Shut Down”. Then wait 10 to 15 seconds. After that click “side” button to turn on your iPhone.

Solution 6: Using Forgot this Network
Make sure that iPhone is connected to the Wi-Fi and Apple watch is connected to the iPhone via Bluetooth.

  • Open “Settings” app on your Apple Watch. Then click “Wi-Fi”.
  • Click “i” icon on a currently connected network.
  • Then click “Forget this Network” and wait few seconds.
  • Now. disable the “Wi-Fi” and again enable “Wi-Fi”.
  • Then reconnect the iPhone to Wi-Fi.
  • Allow a short time for the information will share to your Apple Watch.
  • Put your iPhone into Airplane mode for test the strength of your Apple Watch network connection.
  • Now, open Control Center on your Apple Watch to check the Wi-Fi connection.apple-wifi
  • Finally, turn off “Airplane Mode”.
