Apple Watch Series 3 Microphone not Working? Here’s the fix

Many people have a complaint that their Apple Watch Series 3 mic not working. Many people said that they were swimming in the pool and then it had stopped working. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix this issue.
Solution 1: Restart your Apple Watch

  1. Press and hold the Side Button until the Power Off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your Apple Watch.
  3. To turn your Apple Watch, press and hold Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 2: Force Restart
Press and hold the Side Button and Digital Crown simultaneously until the Apple Logo Appears.
Solution 3: Clean the Microphone

  1. Make sure that nothing is blocked the microphone. Because debris/dust may block the microphone.
  2. Clean the Microphone with a small, dry, soft-bristled brush to remove the debris.

Solution 4: Restart iPhone and Apple Watch

  1. Restart your iPhone and Apple Watch together.
  2. First, turn on your iPhone.
  3. Then turn on your Apple Watch.

Solution 5: Enable Siri on iPhone

  1. Launch Settings->Siri & Search.
  2. Make sure that “Listen for “Hey Siri”” is turned on.
  3. Enable “Allow Siri When Locked”.
  4. Tap “Language” and then select the language that you will speak with Siri

Solution 6: Enable Siri on Apple Watch

  1. Launch Settings->General->Siri.
  2. Select “Always On”.

Solution 7: Enable Restrictions for Siri on iPhone

  1. Open Settings->General->Restrictions.
  2. Make sure that “Siri & Dictation” is turned on.

Solution 8: Update your iPhone and Apple Watch
To update your iPhone,

  1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Go to Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

To update your Apple Watch,
Update your Apple Watch after updating your iPhone.

  1. Connect your Apple Watch to power. Make sure that your Apple Watch has at least 50% charge. Don’t disconnect your Apple Watch from power while updating.
  2. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi.
  3. Keep your Apple watch next to iPhone.
  4. Open Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  5. Tap My Watch tab->General->Software Update.
  6. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.
  7. Enter your passcode if required.
  8. Click “Agree” to agree the Terms and Conditions.

Solution 9: Unpair and Re-pair your Apple Watch
Unpairing your Apple watch is the same as restoring your Watch to Factory Settings. When you unpair your Apple Watch, the iPhone will automatically take a backup of your watch.
Before unpair your Apple Watch, connect it to cellular plan.

  1. Make sure that the distance between your Apple Watch and iPhone is not too far. Keep them as close as possible.
  2. Launch Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  3. Tap My Watch tab.
  4. Tap your Apple Watch when it shows on top of the screen.
  5. Tap the info symbol that is next to your watch to unpair it from your iPhone.
  6. Tap “Unpair Apple Watch”.
  7. After unpairing, you can see the message to repair again. Then repair your Apple Watch with iPhone.
