Apple Watch Series 4 Charging Slow? Here’s the fix


Many Apple users have a complaint that their Apple Watch Series 4 charging slowly. They said that it was fine when they got and this issue occurred suddenly. Are you one of them? If yes, don’t worry. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix the issue.
Solution 1: Restart your Apple Watch

  1. Hold down the Side Button until Power Off slider appears.
  2. Drag the Power Off slider to turn off your Apple Watch.

  4. Now charge your Apple Watch.

Solution 2: Force Restart

Solution 3: Turn off Nightstand Mode and then charge

  1. On your Apple Watch, launch Settings->General->Nightstand Mode.
  2. Turn off “Nightstand Mode”.
  3. Now charge your Apple Watch.

Solution 4: Update your Apple Watch
Before updating your Apple Watch,

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
  2. Make sure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
  3. Keep your Apple Watch next to iPhone.
  4. Connect your Apple Watch to a power source and wait until it gets charged 50%.
  5. Don’t disconnect your Apple Watch from the power source until the update completes.

To update Apple Watch,

  1. On your iPhone, Launch Watch app.
  2. Select My Watch tab.
  3. Scroll down to “General” and tap it.
  4. Tap “Software Update”.
  5. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.
  6. Tap “Agree” to continue.
  7. Enter your Passcode if required.
  8. When update process starts, you can see the progress wheel on your Apple Watch.
  9. When updating process is finished, your Apple will restart automatically.

Solution 5: Check the charger

  1. Make sure that you are using the charger that came with your Apple Watch.
  2. Check your charging cable for damages.
  3. Try different certified 3rd party chargers.

Solution 6: Turn off Wi-Fi and Cellular Data
One of the users said that this solution worked for him.

  1. On your Apple Watch, Go to Control Center.
  2. Turn off Wi-Fi and Cellular Data.
  3. Now your Apple Watch will charge fastly.

Solution 7: Enable Power Reverse
When your Apple Watch is in Power Reserve, you can’t use any feature on your Apple Watch.

  1. On your Apple Watch, go to Control Center.
  2. Tap the battery percentage.
  3. Drag the Power Reserve slider.

  1. On your Apple Watch, turn on Airplane Mode while charging.
  2. Turn off your Apple Watch and then charge.
  3. Keep your Apple Watch in a cool place and then charge.
