Apple Maps show the wrong way on your iPhone XS and XS Max? There are many users have been complaining that their Apple Maps not working or keeps crashing. I too faced this issue on my iPhone. It was showing the wrong ways whenever I use this app. One of my friends suggested me some solutions to solve this problem. After trying, the problem was gone. In this article, I am going to tell you those solutions to solve this problem.
Solution 1: Force Restart your Device
- Press and release Volume Up button.
- Press and release Volume Down button.
- Next, press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.
Solution 2: Use Strong Internet Connection
If an Internet connection is bad, then Apple Maps may not work correctly. Whenever you use Map, check your internet connection. If the signal is weak, then go to any other places where you can get a strong signal.
Solution 3: Turn On Location Services
Make sure that you have turned on Location Services for Apple Maps. if it turned off, turn it on by following given steps.
- Go to Settings -> Privacy.
- Tap on “Location Services”.
- Now, turn on “Location Services”.
- Select Map app and select “Always” or “While Using the App”.
- After doing this, normal restart your phone.
Solution 4: Update the App
If you are using old version apps, this problem may occur. So, update the app via App Store. To do this,
- Launch “App Store”.
- Tap “Updates” tab at the bottom.
- If an update is available for Apple Map, you just Update it.
Solution 5: Disable and Enable Airplane Mode
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Turn on “Airplane Mode”.
- Wait for few seconds and turn it off back.
Solution 6: Set Date & Time
- Go to Settings -> General -> Date & Time.
- Then turn on “Set Automatically”.
Solution 7: Reset Network Settings
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap “General”.
- Tap “Reset”.
- Select “Reset Network Settings”.
Solution 8: Reset Location & Privacy
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap “General”.
- Tap “Reset”.
- Now, select “Reset Network Settings”.
Solution 9: Enable Background App Refresh
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap “Maps”.
- Then turn on “Background App Refresh”.
Solution 10: Turn on Use True North
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap “Compass”.
- Now, turn on “Use True North”.
