App Store Not Connecting in iOS 12? Here's the Fix

Many iPhone users reported that they having a problem like cannot connect to App Store. I too had the same problem and I discussed with my one the friend he also had the same problem and he solved it. So he suggests to me some methods to solve my problem and it works for me. So now I’m gonna share some tricks to solve your problem.
Method 1: Turn on Cellular Data for App Store

  1. Launch the Settings app.
  2. Tap Cellular data and then turn on it.
  3. Scroll down to turn on the App Store.

Method 2: Sign Out and Sign In iCloud.

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap “Apple ID”.
  3. Scroll down and then tap “Sign Out” and enter your Apple ID and Password.
  4. Tap “Sign Out” at the right corner.
  5. Again tap “Sign Out” in the pop-up box  to confirm the action


  1. Launch Settings > iCloud.
  2. Enter your Apple ID and Password.
  3. Tap “Sign In

Method 3: Set Date & Time automatically

  1. Launch the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and then tap Date & Time.
  3. Turn Off the Set Automatically.

Now open App Store. If you still get an error message then go back and set the correct date by switching Set Automatically back to on. Again try to connect App Store.
Method 4: Force Restart/Hard Reset
iPhone 6

  1. Press and Hold the Home button.
  2. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep button when holding the Home button.
  3. Hold both buttons until you see the Black Screen.
  4. Wait for sometimes to see Apple Logo.

iPhone 7

  1. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep(Power) button at the right of your iPhone.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Button.
  3. Wait until the Apple Logo appears.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Method 5: Factory Reset

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Again scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.
  4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
  5. Now the pop-up box will appear with 3 options. If you want to Backup your device then tap Back Up Then Erase.
  6. If you have already taken a Backup then tap Erase Now.
  7. Wait until the process gets finished.

Note: This fix will remove all data from your device. Therefore, it is advisable to take a backup.
Method 6: System Update

  1. Launch Settings->General.
  2. Tap on “Software Update“.
  3. If an Update is available, tap “Download and Install”.
