How to Turn Off Auto Delete Apps on iPhone?

Many Apple users have a complaint that apps getting deleted automatically on their iPhone. They think that this is the biggest issue. But it is not like that. When you enable offload unused apps, your iPhone will uninstall apps automatically. So disable offload unused apps to stop your iPhone from uninstalling apps automatically.

What is an “Offload Unused App”?

iPhone gives you the option to put the app offline. If you enable “Offload Unused Apps”, your iPhone will automatically delete the apps that are not used for long. The main purpose of enabling Offload Unused App is your iPhone will automatically delete the unused apps to free up space when your iPhone doesn’t have enough space. You have the option to put all the apps to offload or select any one of the apps to put offload.

How to turn off/disable Offload Unused Apps?

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find “iTunes & App Store”.
  3. Turn off “Offload Unused Apps”.turn off offload-unused apps

You can use two methods to put all the apps to download.

Method 1: Via iTunes & App Store

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find “iTunes & App Store”.
  3. Turn on “Offload Unused Apps”.disable-offload unused apps

Method 2: Via iPhone Storage

  1. Launch Settings->General->iPhone Storage.
  2. Click “Enable” next to Offload Unused Apps. This action will automatically off unused apps when your iPhone is on low storage.
