If Siri activates but doesn’t respond to commands on your iPhone, it may be due to issues with your internet connection, settings, or software.
Solution 1: Adjust Siri Response Settings
- Navigate to Settings > Siri & Search.
- Select Siri Responses and choose Prefer Spoken Responses instead of automatic.
Solution 2: Check Screen Time Restrictions
- Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Ensure that Siri and Dictation are allowed.

Note (Optional): Turn Off Content & Privacy Restrictions
After rebooting, return to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Toggle the switch Off if you no longer want it enabled.

Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions
Turn ON and make sure Siri & Dictation is allowed.
