Fixed: Share Contact Not Working After iOS 17 Update

When iPhone users who are using iOS 17 try to share contacts to other iPhones, they won't be able share their contacts. It only allows them to receive contact information.

Before trying these solutions, make sure both iPhones are updated to iOS 17 or the latest version (you can update your iPhone to the latest iOS via Settings -> General -> Software Update)

You can share contacts by holding the two phones together side by side or connecting them top to top. 

Solution 1: Check if you have already added a phone number or email address in your contact

  1. Open the iPhone Contacts app.
  2. Select the contact you want to share.
  3. Tap the Edit button at the top right corner of the screen.
  4. You have to add either the Phone number or email (If you not already added). Then tap the Done button. 
  5. Make sure you are sign into your Apple ID account.on your iPhone
  6. Now try to share the contact. This time, you should see both "Receive Only" and "Share" buttons on both devices.
