Fixed: iPhone Screen Dimming When Watching Videos

When iPhone users watching videos the screen automatically goes to dim or blank on the screen. This issue happened even "automatic brightness" is turned off.

Solutions

Solution 1: Turn off "Dim Flashing Lights" option

  1. Go  to Settings -> Accessibility -> Motion
  2. Turn off "Dim Flashing alights" option, if its already turned on.
  3. Now go back to the video you are watching and check if the issue is solved or not. 

Solution 2: Turn off "Reduce White Point"

  1. Go  to Settings -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size
  2. Turn off "Reduce White Point" option.

Solution 3: Turn Off "Auto Brightness"

  1. Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size.
  2. Turn off the "Auto-Brightness" feature.

Solution 4: Turn off "Attention Aware Features"

  1. Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Face ID & Attention.
  2. Turn off the Attention Aware Features".

Solution 5: For Instagram users (Turn off 'Disable HDR Video Playback')

  1. If you getting this issue on you Instagram video playback, then do this steps to avoid this issue.
  2. Open your Instagram app.
  3. Go to your Profile.
  4. Click the Hamburger Menu at the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Choose "Settings and Privacy".
  6. Scroll down the page and find "Media quality" option in "Your app and media" section. Then tap on it.
  7. Now turn off "Disable HDR Video Playback" option.
