Solutions

Solution 1:

Place one AirPod in your ear and keep the other in the case, then go to the settings.

Solution 2:

Reset the AirPods, reconnect them, then go to Find My and play a sound.

After you hear the sound, return to the settings and you'll be able to turn it off.

Solution 3:

Plug in the charger, then remove one AirPod and adjust the noise control. The indicator will turn green, allowing you to switch tabs.

Solution 4:

  1. Open the case lid and check the "Case Charging Sounds" option.
  2. If the option doesn’t appear, close the case lid briefly and reopen it.
  3. Hold one AirPod slightly out of the case while checking the option again.
  4. Once the option appears, you can turn it off.
  5. If the setting seems greyed out later, wait a moment for it to sync and it should return to your previous preference.

Solution 5:

  1. Place your AirPods in the charging case and close the lid.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Open the lid, put your AirPods in your ears, and go to Settings > Bluetooth or Settings > [your AirPods].
    1. If your AirPods are listed as connected, tap the More Info button, select "Forget This Device," and confirm.
    2. If your AirPods don’t appear, proceed to the next step.
  4. Put your AirPods back in the case and keep the lid open.
  5. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light flashes amber, then white.
  6. Reconnect your AirPods by placing the case near your iPhone or iPad with the lid open, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Solution 6:

  1. Charge the case.
  2. Open the case and press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
  3. Connect the AirPods manually through Bluetooth.
  4. Go to Settings and turn off “Enable Charging Sounds,” which should no longer be greyed out.

Solution 7:

  1. Go to Settings and open Bluetooth while using your AirPods.
  2. Tap the blue “i” icon next to your AirPods.
  3. Scroll down to the "Charging Case Sound" option and wait for a moment.
  4. After about 30 seconds, the option should become available. You can then turn it off.

Solution 8:

  1. Close the case with the AirPods Pro inside.
  2. Plug the case into the charging cable.
  3. Wait about 30 seconds.
  4. Open the charging case.
  5. Wait for your phone to recognize and connect to your AirPods Pro.
  6. The "Enable Charging Case Sounds" option should then become accessible, allowing you to turn it off.
