Solutions
Solution 1:
Place one AirPod in your ear and keep the other in the case, then go to the settings.
Solution 2:
Reset the AirPods, reconnect them, then go to Find My and play a sound.
After you hear the sound, return to the settings and you'll be able to turn it off.
Solution 3:
Plug in the charger, then remove one AirPod and adjust the noise control. The indicator will turn green, allowing you to switch tabs.
Solution 4:
- Open the case lid and check the "Case Charging Sounds" option.
- If the option doesn’t appear, close the case lid briefly and reopen it.
- Hold one AirPod slightly out of the case while checking the option again.
- Once the option appears, you can turn it off.
- If the setting seems greyed out later, wait a moment for it to sync and it should return to your previous preference.
Solution 5:
- Place your AirPods in the charging case and close the lid.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Open the lid, put your AirPods in your ears, and go to Settings > Bluetooth or Settings > [your AirPods].
- If your AirPods are listed as connected, tap the More Info button, select "Forget This Device," and confirm.
- If your AirPods don’t appear, proceed to the next step.
- Put your AirPods back in the case and keep the lid open.
- Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light flashes amber, then white.
- Reconnect your AirPods by placing the case near your iPhone or iPad with the lid open, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Solution 6:
- Charge the case.
- Open the case and press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
- Connect the AirPods manually through Bluetooth.
- Go to Settings and turn off “Enable Charging Sounds,” which should no longer be greyed out.
Solution 7:
- Go to Settings and open Bluetooth while using your AirPods.
- Tap the blue “i” icon next to your AirPods.
- Scroll down to the "Charging Case Sound" option and wait for a moment.
- After about 30 seconds, the option should become available. You can then turn it off.
Solution 8:
- Close the case with the AirPods Pro inside.
- Plug the case into the charging cable.
- Wait about 30 seconds.
- Open the charging case.
- Wait for your phone to recognize and connect to your AirPods Pro.
- The "Enable Charging Case Sounds" option should then become accessible, allowing you to turn it off.
