Airpods Can’t Connect to Mac


Many of then often reporting that AirPods won’t connect to Mac. Always AirPods have the problem in pairing and sound quality.  Among those problems, the most common issue is Won’t pair to Mac. I too have the same problem and I tried a few steps to overcome this issue. Now I’m gonna share those step with you. Hope those tricks useful to you.  

Solution 1: Update your Mac

  1. Launch App Store.
  2. Tap Updates tab.
  3. If an update is available then tap “ Update

Solution 2: Turn on Bluetooth

  1. Go to System Preferences.
  2. Tap Bluetooth. Make sure if the Bluetooth is on.
  3. Then turn On Bluetooth.

Solution 3: Pair Your AirPods Manually

  1. Tap System Preferences.
  2. Click Bluetooth.
  3. Then select the AirPods and connect it.

Solution 4: Select AirPods as Output Device

  1. Tap System Preferences.
  2. Tap Sound.
  3. Here click Output and then select your AirPods.

Solution 5: Forget AirPods

  1. Tap System Preferences .
  2. Tap Bluetooth.
  3. Here select the device and then click the X button.
  4. Then tap Forget Device.
  5. After a few seconds reconnect it.

Solution 6: Charge Airpods case

This step may give the better solution to this issue. To charge your AirPods just use lightning cable. Wait until the status light turns to Green.

Solution 7: Reset your Airpods

  1. Hold down the Setup Button until yellow light (status light) flashes a few times.
  2. Leave the Setup Button when you see the white light.

Solution 8: Repair AirPods

Still, your AirPods won’t connect to Mac then move to Apple Support.
