Solved: AirPlay Icon Missing in Control Center on iPhone and iPad


The iPhone users complained that AirPlay icon missing in control center. I too had this problem. Now, I fixed this problem. One of my friends said some solution to resolve AirPlay icon not showing in control center in iPhone. In this article, I am going to share with you how to get rid of this problem. If you have this problem, read this article.
1. Turn On AirPaly:
Ensure that AirPlay option is turned on your Apple TV.

  • Launch “Settings” app on your Apple TV.
  • Click on “AirPlay” and turn on it.airplay-img

2. Check the Wi-Fi connection:
You have to check both devices should be connected to same Wi-Fi.
3. Restart your Apple TV:
Using Remote

  • If you are using  Apple Tv Remote or Siri Remote, Press and hold the “Menu Button” until light flashes on your Apple TV.
  • If you are using Apple Tv Remote (white or aluminum), press and whole the menu and down button until light flashes.

Using Settings

  • If your Apple TV is the 3rd generation or earlier, you can open “Settings” -> click “General” -> click “Restart”.
  • If your Apple TV 4th generation or 4K, you can open “Settings” -> click “System” -> click “Restart”.

Note: If your device doesn’t Restart, switch off the power of your Apple Tv and wait for 10 seconds. Then switch on it.
4. Restart your iPhone and iPad:
iPhone 8 and Earlier

  • Press and hold the power button until you get a slider.
  • To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  • After few second, again press and hold the power button until getting Apple logo.

iPhone X

  • Press and hold the side button until you get a slider.
  • To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  • After that, again turn on your device, For that, press and hold the side button until getting an Apple logo.

5. Restart your router:

  • Unplug the Modem router from the connected device.
  • Then wait for 10 to 15 seconds. After that, plug it on.
  • Now, you can connect your devices.

6. Update your Apple TV:

  • If your Apple Tv is the 4th generation, then go to “Settings” -> tap “System” -> tap “Software Updates” -> choose “Update Software”.update-img
  • If update available, choose “Download and Install”. Don’t unplug your Apple TV until update completed.
  • After the update, your TV will be Restarting.
  • If you want to set “Update Automatically”, go to “Settings” ->click “System” -> click “Software Update” -> turn on “Automatically Update”.
  • if you are using 3rd generation Apple TV or earlier,  then go to “Settings” -> tap “General” -> tap “Software Updates” -> choose “Update Software”.update-3rd

7. Update your iPhone and iPad:

  • First, connect your device to the Internet.
  • Launch “Settings”.
  • Click “General” -> click “Software”. There is an update available you just update it.
