3D Touch not Working on iPhone X? Here’s the fix


3D Touch is not working on your iPhone X? Many users have this issue on their phone. This post will help you to fix this issue.
First, check “3D Touch” whether it is enabled or not. When you want to keep Camera and Flashlight on lock screen, you have to enable 3D Touch.
Devices: iphone 6, 6 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
Solution 1: Enable 3D Touch

  1. Go to “Settings”.settings
  2. Tap “General”.general iphoe x
  3. Tap “Accessibility”.
  4. Scroll down to find “3D Touch” option and then tap it.enable 3d touch iphone x
  5. Make sure that 3D Touch is enabled. Turn on/toggle on 3D Touch if it is disabled.
  6. You can also adjust (Light, Medium, Firm) the 3D Touch Sensitivity using the slider. Keep the sensitivity in Medium.

If you have this issue after 3D Touch is enabled, try other (below) solutions.
Solution 2: Soft restart

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Scroll down to find “Shut Down” and tap it. Then turn on your phone.

Solution 3: Hard Reset/Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.iPhone x

Solution 4: Reset Factory Settings (Factory restore)
This process will erase all data from your mobile. So Before do it take a back up your ipad or iPhone. After finishing this restore everything.

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Erase All Contents and Settings”. Enter passcode if it is required.
  3. Then you will be asked to enter Apple ID password. Enter it. The reset process will take 1 or 2 minutes.

Note: you can select either iTunes or iCloud to take a back up.
To take a back up,

  1. Launch Settings->iCloud.
  2. Make sure that  “iCloud Backup” is on.
  3. And tap on “Back Up Now”.

You can also Restore your iPhone using iTunes.
Solution 5: Reset All settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Reset All Settings” under Reset
  3. Enter passcode if required and confirm the action.

Note: When you do reset all settings, your iPhone will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved WiFi passwords, APN and VPN settings.

Other solutions:

  1. Make sure that you have updated your iPhone X to the latest version of iOS.
  2. Go to an Apple Store and find the issue.
