How to Downgrade iOS 8.4 to iOS 8.3 on iPhone, iPad

If you want to downgrade your Apple Device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) from iOS 8.4 to iOS 8.3, follow my step by step tutorial guide. Apple could stop signing for iOS 8.3 at any moment. So hurry up to downgrade your iOS device.

downgrade iOS 8.4

Notes:-

  • You can only downgrade iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch device to iOS 8.3.
  • Before doing any downgrading process, first back up your Apple iOS device.
  • Apple does not recommended downgrading. So it’s your own risk.

How to Downgrade from iOS 8.4 to iOS 8.3

Step 1: First download iOS 8.3 firmware file for your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Step 2: Connect your iOS device (running under iOS 8.4) to computer (Windows / Mac).

Step 3: Open iTunes from your computer and select your Apple device from the top right corner.

Step 4: Hold the Alt/Option key (Mac) or Shift key (Windows) on your keyboard and choose the check for update option. Actually it was a restore method. So don’t forget to take a backup.

Step 5: Select .ipsw file (which is already downloaded) from your computer. iTunes will show you a message to update your iOS device to iOS 8.3.

Step 6: Choose Update option. iTunes should now downgrade your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iOS 8.3.

After downgrading, your iOS device will restart. Now you should see “Slide to upgrade”. Just enter the passcode and wait sometimes for the downgrade process to complete.

That’s it.

i updated to 8.4 to listen to Beats1, but hated how the new Music App handled my mp3 collection (it also deleted all but 3 artists in my library for some reason…). read this article and it helped me downgrade so i can listen to my mp3 collection the way i want it — THANK YOU.

I did this and it took my back down to 8.3, but now when I try to open my music app it would open for 2 seconds then crash, or not open at all. How do I fix this? (I made sure to back everything up in my laptop AND on the Cloud)
