Solution 1: Force Restart Your iPhone

Force Restart: Quickly press and release the Volume Up button, then the Volume Down button, and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.

Hold Buttons Longer: If it still doesn’t respond, continue holding the Side button longer than usual.

Try this method 3 to 4 times if your iPhone is not turned on. 

Solution 2: Connect Your Phone to the Computer and start iTunes

Skip the usual force restart process.

Connect to iTunes: Plug the iPhone into a computer and open iTunes (or Finder on macOS).

Click on iTunes: Once iTunes recognizes the device, click to proceed, and the phone should start up normally.

If the phone doesn’t turn on and you suspect battery issues, this may indicate a swelling battery that’s damaging the hardware. If you're under warranty, take the phone to Apple—likely, they’ll replace the battery or fix the hardware, as happened in this case.

Solution 4: Try a 20V Charger

The iPhone 16 may require a 20V power plug to turn on properly, as it doesn't get enough power from a 15V charger. If your phone isn't turning on, try using a 20V charger, as this may provide the necessary power. When plugged into a 20V charger at the Apple Store, the phone turned on, which suggests this might be the issue.

Solution 5: Use a USB-C Charger

To ensure the phone has enough power, charge it up to around 90%. Instead of using MagSafe, switch to a USB-C charger, as it may provide more stable power. If your iPhone isn't turning on or working properly, this method might help resolve the issue.
